A fast-growing name in international trumpet, Paul Jordanous has spent the past ten years working with some of the most iconic artists and groups in British jazz, including Peter King, Alan Barnes, Don Weller, Laurence Cottle, Mike Garrick Orceshtra and Clark Tracey Sextet. He has also appeared with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, New York Voices, Bobby Worth and David Essex. And Now I Know, Jordanous' debut album, sees him alongside some of the UK's brightest young stars, such as Mercury-nominated Kit Downes, Paul Booth (Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood) and MOBO-winner Lewis Wright (Empirical). It also documents for the first time his compositional style, which draws upon hard/post bop, folk and groove, whilst nodding towards the work of US trumpeters Roy Hargrove and Christian Scott.
