Aidan Carroll, Original Vision (LR031) 10/3/15, album, CD, download   Rising star bassist/composer Aidan Carroll left the plains of Oklahoma in 2006 to begin a mentorship with jazz great John Patitucci at City College, New York, and has spent the past nine years on stage and in the studio with jazz icons such as Aaron Goldberg, Seamus Blake and John Abercrombie. More recently he has toured in the groups of Fred Hersch, Lisa Fischer and Melody Gardot.   Carroll's highly-personal debut album Original Vision draws its title from a vision he had of becoming a musician when he was eight years old.
