The 2014 MOBO nominees have been announced and we're delighted that Jason Rebello, who released his long-awaited come-back album Anything But Look with us last November, make the Best Jazz Act shortlist. Jason's career has spanned over twenty years and a multitude of genres, from his Wayne Shorter-produced debut album A Clearer View to twelve years on the road with Sting and Jeff Beck. We're also pleased to see Andreas Varady make the shortlist. His debut album Questions, which was produced by and featured his mentor David Lyttle, helped Andreas reach an international audience and led to his current record deal with Verve Records, who released his latest album in August.
